fire & ambulance stations

Our involvement with Fire Stations began in previous practices as the project architect on Burpengary and Kipparing Fire Stations as a new prototype for QFRS and even earlier as project architects/ lead designers on several projects for Airservices Aviation Fire & Rescue Service.

in 2010 Lightbox joined  Conrad Gargett Architecture to successfully deliver four new stations around the Brisbane Region.

Lightbox provided technical expertise during design, documentation and tendering stages before fullfilling the role of superintendant/project architect during the construction of these four stations.  More recently we've also delivered fire station refurbishment projects in Capalaba, Cleveland, Caboolture, Mt Tamborine and many others. Involvement in these projects has added to an unrivalled knowledge of this building type and an excellent ongoing relationship with various sectors of the Public Safety Business Agency (formerly Dept. Of Community Safety)

As you'll see in our projects list we've also continued to be involved in a wide variety of projects for Queensland Ambulance including the recently completed new Remote Station in Tara.
